Vawg session at Punjabi center Ilford

Yesterday, Safer Neighbourhood Officers 7016EA & 7109EA attended the Punjabi Centre in Ilford.

We had a great opportunity to speak with the community about Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG), personal safety, and other crime prevention advice.

We were warmly welcomed and had the chance to talk to many individuals one-to-one, listening to their concerns and offering support. A questions and answers session was also held, where community members raised important issues, and we were pleased to be able to answer their queries.

A special thanks to Local Councillor Kumud Joshi – her support was invaluable, and this event would not have been possible without her.
